The Opportunity:



We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven IT Support Engineer to join our team. This isn't just a support role; it's a foundational step for someone eager to develop into a full-fledged Infrastructure Engineer. You'll start by providing essential IT support, learning our systems inside and out, and gradually taking on more complex infrastructure projects.


What You'll Do (Initial Responsibilities):



Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems, ranging from password resets to basic network connectivity. Set up and configure new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices. Manage user accounts and permissions in various systems (e.g., Active Directory, SaaS applications). Document IT procedures, solutions, and inventory. Assist with IT asset management and procurement. Help maintain a smooth and efficient IT environment for all employees.

What You'll Grow Into (Future Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities):



Infrastructure Management:

Learn to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure).

Network Engineering:

Gain experience with network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), Wi-Fi systems, and network protocols.

Cloud Computing:

Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) on deployments, monitoring, and cost optimization.

Automation:

Explore scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.

Security:

Understand and implement IT security best practices.

Project Work:

Participate in and eventually lead infrastructure-related projects (e.g., system upgrades, new technology implementations). Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable and robust IT infrastructure solutions.

Who You Are:



1-2 years of experience in an IT support role or a recent graduate with relevant internships. Strong foundational understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and network basics. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset. Eager to learn and develop new technical skills rapidly. Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. A genuine passion for technology and infrastructure.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):



Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Zendesk). Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration. Basic understanding of scripting (e.g., PowerShell). * Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+).
