Job Posting Title: IT TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

Contract period : 12months

Job Summary:

The Project Manager (PM) shall focus on the technical requirements, functional solutions and operations aspects of the project. The PM shall be involved in the technical planning, coordination, implementation and shall also provide technical support for ongoing operations.

The PM shall be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) due to the nature of work that requires access to the Government Data Centre.

:

• Manages the infrastructure services that enable the application systems environment. Includes Patch Management, Asset Management for Systems and such.

• Supports application architecture design, integration, acceptance, and infrastructure performance testing.

• Performs on\xe2\x80\x90boarding processes (design, setup, configuration, implementation, testing and commissioning of infrastructure components)

• Develops Infrastructure and Systems standard operating procedures (SOPs), Technical Architecture, Hardening Standards for OS, database, user guides, etc.

• Supports Incident and Problem Management in areas not covered in standard operating procedures.

• Has experience in system architecture, resource planning, infrastructure performance and system hosting environment from server hardware down to OS layer (including Virtualization technology and Storage) in support of new applications.

• Possess strong understanding of systems operations environment to ensure smooth and sustainable operations, including resiliency requirements.

• Coordinates supporting documents and assist in invoice/payment processing, budget forecast and expenditure

Job Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of IT Technical PM experience, preferably experienced in Singapore Government IT projects and possesses some relevant healthcare domain knowledge.

Salary ranges up to $6,800 per month.

• Experienced in .Net or J2EE, Sun Solaris 11, Oracle Database, MS SQL Database, IIS and WebLogic etc

• ITILv3 Certified, and preferably certification in project management

• Team player with strong organization and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrate integrity and drive for excellence in work

• PM with relevant experience in supporting Operating System technologies and Virtualization platforms (e.g. Windows, Solaris and AIX) will be an added advantage.
