Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of Command & Control (C2) solutions for public safety operations. The role involves managing integrated platforms with real-time incident tracking, GIS mapping, and mobile-enabled dispatching in secure or low-connectivity environments. Acting as the bridge between stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams, you will ensure solutions are robust, secure, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

Lead delivery of integrated C2 systems (web, mobile, backend on AWS). Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors across technical components. Translate public safety workflows into clear requirements and validate implementations. Oversee real-time modules: incident reporting, responder tracking, GIS mapping, dispatch. Guide architecture decisions on integration and restricted-network deployments. Manage project plans, integration/testing schedules, and documentation (Agile + Waterfall). Ensure compliance with IM8 and resilience in air-gapped or closed-loop environments. Support training, onboarding, and smooth operational handover.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years in software project management, incl. 2+ years in mission-critical systems (public safety, defense, or emergency response). Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors. Strong grasp of web/mobile architecture, AWS cloud, and system integration. Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and organizational skills. Experience in public sector / homeland security integration. Familiarity with IM8 standards, identity management, and inter-system comms. * Plus: Knowledge of GIS, real-time data flows, and low-bandwidth/offline design.
