Reaches out to peers and cooperates with supervisors to establish an overall collaborative working relationship Role description: We are seeking a skilled IT & Telecom Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The IT & Telecom Project Engineer will also be responsible for communicating project progress, risks and issues to stakeholders and senior management. Responsibilities: \xe2\x97\x8f Manage multiple IT and Telecom projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on-time, within scope and budget. \xe2\x97\x8f Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and third-party contractors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects. \xe2\x97\x8f Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules, and ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status updates. \xe2\x97\x8f Monitor project progress and communicate issues and risks to stakeholders and senior management in a timely and effective manner. \xe2\x97\x8f Conduct regular meetings with project teams and provide guidance and direction to ensure successful project delivery. \xe2\x97\x8f Perform quality assurance checks to ensure projects meet quality standards and requirements. \xe2\x97\x8f Manage and monitor project financials, including project budgets, forecasts, and actuals. \xe2\x97\x8f Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. \xe2\x97\x8f Identify and implement process improvements to optimize project delivery. Requirements/Experience: \xe2\x97\x8f 3+ years of experience in IT and Telecom project management or engineering. \xe2\x97\x8f Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment \xe2\x97\x8f Hands on experience in laying/dressing of cables and racking/stacking of equipment \xe2\x97\x8f Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. \xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. Qualifications: \xe2\x97\x8f Degree or Diploma in engineering or IT related field \xe2\x97\x8f Data Center design certification will be an advantage, example, CDCDP \xe2\x97\x8f Certified in Structured Cabling System and Design and RCDD will be an added advantage \xe2\x97\x8f CCNA and CCNP will be an advantage \xe2\x97\x8f PMP / Prince 2 certified will be an advantage \xe2\x97\x8f Maintaining your qualification by staying up to date with changes in the industry and having an understanding of relevant software, such as AutoCAD will be beneficial to succeeding in this job. \xe2\x97\x8f Fluency in written and spoken English Others: \xe2\x97\x8f Working hours from Monday through Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to provide support during and outside regular business hours is required Job Type: Permanent Salary: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month Work Location: In person
