Job summary

Monitoring & Automation (M&A) team in Singapore is responsible for day-to-day operational services on the infrastructure of Europe (mainly France and UK) and Asia remotely from Singapore. France infrastructure represents approximately 80% of the worldwide production activities of CA-CIB in Singapore.

Team works in Asia and Europe time zones, however this role is aligned to Asia working hours.

The operational support of the team covers the following technical scope:

• Managing the Monitoring and Automation technology stack like Opentext Operations Bridge, Operations Orchestration, Sitescope, NNM, etc.
• Setting up Monitoring and automation solution Opentext tools stack for production based applications & infrastructures
• Infrastructure support required for maintaining the technology stack.
• Performing day-to-day operations to ensure Monitoring and automation environment are always up and highly available.

Junior Engineer (M&A)

M&A Junior Engineer role provides candidate an exposure on configuration of Monitoring for entire IT Infrastructure also developing the automations for IT infrastructure management. It will provide complete insight on how to event management works, what are the monitoring parameters with thresholds, how to integrate different tools.

This role is aligned under Monitoring and Automation team in Singapore; this team manages the run operation of Monitoring tools stack on production system and developing the new automation for IT infrastructure.

Main responsibilities:

Primarily, candidate will be responsible to work on the following projects:

Monitoring and Automation:

Responsibilities:

• Providing BAU support for Monitoring tools.
• Administering and troubleshooting problems related Monitoring agents/Monitoring Tools.
• Work with infra teams on requirement gathering to automation implementation
• Understanding existing automation workflows and enhancement as per requirement
• Coordinating with different infrastructure team like System, Network, Application, etc. for fixing the issues.
• Developing the script using Python, PowerShell and JavaScript etc., as per requirements.
• Regular follow-up\'s with other teams for pending tasks.
• Daily health check activities for making sure Monitoring and automation environments are healthy and working with any issues.

Work Schedule

• The role is aligned to follow 10 AM - 7 PM SGT.
