About this Role: - The Utility Section Manager is a key role in the production department of a chemical company. The manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the WasteWater Treatment (WWT), Waste Gas Treatment (WGT), and Utility (UTL) functions.
Overview: -
Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Working Location: Jurong Island
Transport provided: from Lakeside and Jurong East MRT stations
Monthly Base Salary: Up to $5500
Additional of Monthly Fixed Allowance
Your Responsibilities: -
Report to the Production Manager and manage all Utility personnel
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements for discharge and equipment maintenance
Oversee the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Monitor and manage waste discharge and utility usage
Plan and publish monthly shift rosters for personnel
Lead the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT)
We are looking for a candidate with: -
A degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant working experience
Familiarity with Environmental Safety and Health regulations
Strong working knowledge of chemical plant management
If you are a self-disciplined, resourceful, and driven individual with leadership qualities, we would love to hear from you. Bonus points if you have a SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager) and experience leading CERT!
