We're hiring a full-time

ECDA-certified Lead English Teacher

for a

January 2026 start

at a boutique international preschool near

Mountbatten MRT

. This role will be for either

N1 or N2

, depending on student cohort. If you have experience in play-based, inquiry-driven settings and enjoy engaging with international families, this could be a great long-term fit.


Set within a purpose-built black-and-white bungalow, this family-run kindergarten was recently recognised as one of Singapore's top three preschools. The school offers a warm, collaborative environment grounded in play-based and inquiry-led learning -- with strong Reggio and Montessori influences.

What You'll Do

Lead a class of N1 or N2 children through daily routines, inquiry-driven lessons, and outdoor play Use storytelling, dramatic play, and hands-on exploration to bring learning to life Engage meaningfully with parents during drop-off and pick-up -- 95% are expat families Partner with an experienced international team of teachers and assistants Maintain a safe, hygienic, and emotionally attuned classroom aligned with ECDA standards

Who We're Looking For

ECDA-certified (minimum L1) with at least 1 year of group preschool teaching experience Prior experience in an international preschool is required Confident communicator who builds strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Warm, energetic, and play-focused teaching style -- someone who believes play is serious work L2 certification is welcomed but not required*

Work Hours

: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Leave

: Over 55+ paid weekdays off annually (school holiday calendar)

Bonus

: Annual performance bonus (1.5-2 months depending on performance)
