Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is working with a market leading brokerage across Dry Bulk derivatives. They are looking to expand their market exposure by the addition of a Japan Power broker to be based in Singapore or Japan. We are open to various backgrounds across JKM/Japanese Power, with sales/broker experience and derivatives knowledge
Responsibilities:

• Network within the LNG/JKM sector to create new and strengthen existing contact base within the LNG market in Asia
• Maintain knowledge of current trends and movements in the power/ gas space across LNG to provide relevant advice to service clients
• Travel to meet and entertain clients across Asia to maintain relationships and provide advisory services wherever necessary
• Regularly work to build out the company's Asian presence in the Japanese Power market

Experience:

• 4+ years of brokering experience across the gas/power/shipping sector required
• Good knowledge of the LNG markets in Asia (Japan Power)
• Sales/ Broker experience non-negotiable
• Solid relationships in the Japan power space with
• Japanese speaker required
• Experience setting up/ running own desk
• Willing to be based in Singapore/Japan
