Job Description

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to developer large scale public-fronting applications for a Government Agency!

Responsibilities:

\xe2\x97\x8f Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software applications.
\xe2\x97\x8f Improve software quality using Scrum practices such as code review and unit testing with peers.
\xe2\x97\x8f Assist PO/BA on user stories refinement.
\xe2\x97\x8f Assist QA engineers on test automation and bug fixes.
\xe2\x97\x8f Assist DevOps engineers on build and release automation.
\xe2\x97\x8f Prepare interface specifications and other architecture documents.

Requirements:

\xe2\x97\x8f Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
\xe2\x97\x8f At least 3 years of professional working experience in a software engineer or equivalent position.
\xe2\x97\x8f Hands-on working experience with Java Spring, Angular and AWS cloud technology.
\xe2\x97\x8f Familiar with Clean Code, Design Patterns and Unit Testing.
\xe2\x97\x8f Proven working experience in Java Spring Framework / Angular / Apache Spark / Data Engineering / ETL.
\xe2\x97\x8f Technical knowledge and experience in designing and developing applications in AWS cloud environment (RDS, Glue, Lambda, MSK) will be advantageous
\xe2\x97\x8f Working experience in Agile and UX development environment will be an added advantage.
