Singaporean / Singapore PR is a mustOur client is an investment companyOUR IMPACTAs a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for helping to improve Alloy Studio platform either by providing new functionalities based on users requests and new use cases, or improving existing ones. There is wide variety of ways to get involved depending on your interests - from making Alloy Studio intuitive and improving user/developer experience, through making data modelling process seamless, providing connections to new types of databases, improving modelling language itself or optimizing query execution time.HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL\xc2\xb7 Design & develop modern data management tools to curate our most important data sets, models and processes, while identifying areas for process automation and further efficiencies\xc2\xb7 Contribute to an open source technology\xc2\xb7 Drive adoption of Cloud technology for data processing and warehousing\xc2\xb7 Engage with data consumers and producers in order to design appropriate models to suit all needs\xc2\xb7 Relevant Technologies: Java, AWS, ReactRequirementsSkills:Basic Qualifications\xc2\xb7 2-5 or 5+ years of relevant work experience in a team-focused environment\xc2\xb7 A Bachelor or Master degree in a computational field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or in a related quantitative discipline)\xc2\xb7 Strong object-oriented design and programming skills and experience in OO languages (Java)\xc2\xb7 Experience or interest in functional programming languages\xc2\xb7 Proven experience applying domain driven design to build complex business applications\xc2\xb7 Deep understanding of multidimensionality of data, data curation and data quality, such as traceability, security, performance latency and correctness across supply and demand processes\xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases, including database design\xc2\xb7 General knowledge of business processes, data flows and the quantitative models that generate or consume data\xc2\xb7 Excellent communications skills and the ability to work with subject matter experts to extract critical business concepts\xc2\xb7 Independent thinker, willing to engage, challenge or learn\xc2\xb7 Ability to stay commercially focused and to always push for quantifiable commercial impact\xc2\xb7 Strong work ethic, a sense of ownership and urgency\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem solving skills\xc2\xb7 Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and communicate complex ideas in a simple manner
