This role is for a Java Developer with JIRA knowledge to develop the Portal.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• As a JIRA developer, develop and maintain automation workflows, develop plugins to extend JIRA capabilities.
• Build dashboards for JIRA, configure custom fields, create custom preset filters, test outcomes and identify defects.
• Design custom JIRA workflow for different issues types to assist in Automation of infrastructure services as well as other continuous integration workflows.
• Perform duties of a JIRA engineer and responsible for maintenance, administration, upgrade and enhancements to JIRA, Confluence and integrations with other tools or plugins.
• Create JIRA projects, queries and reports.

Requirements / Qualifications :

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor\'s Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• Min 7+ years of experience as a JAVA Developer.
• Proficient in automation technologies such as Ansible, Chef, CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.
• Minimum 3-5 years and above of relevant hands-on experience with Atlassian JIRA including tool administration and customization.
• Experience in creating JIRA templates, custom issues and workflows, custom forms and attributes.
• Experience in using/extending REST Services provided by Atlassian.
• Strong work experience in Java, JavaScript, XML, JSP, SQL, PERL, Python.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, preferably with Agile Kanban/Scrum.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
• Possesses strong analytical skills to diagnose and address application problems.
• Result and customer oriented with multi-tasking capabilities
