We are seeking a

Java Full Stack Developer

to join our team supporting a leading banking client. This is a

12-month renewable contract role

based at Changi. The developer will work on enterprise-grade applications, contributing to design, development, testing, deployment, and support.


This role is ideal for professionals with

2-6 years of hands-on experience

in Java backend and modern frontend frameworks, who enjoy end-to-end ownership and collaborating in an agile team environment.





You will be working on-site at a

leading multinational bank in Singapore

, supporting large-scale digital transformation projects within their technology division

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack applications using

Java, Spring Boot, and modern JS frameworks (React/Angular)

. Design and implement

REST APIs, microservices, and secure integrations

. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with strong focus on

unit testing and automation

. Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in

Agile/Scrum ceremonies

and contribute to sprint deliverables. Ensure application stability, scalability, and compliance with security standards. Support SIT, UAT, and production deployments with troubleshooting and issue resolution. Prepare and maintain

technical documentation

and knowledge base.

Requirements

Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3-6 years of hands-on

Java backend and frontend development

experience. Strong skills in

Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs

. Proficiency in

ReactJS or Angular

for UI development. Experience with

SQL (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL)

and database query optimization. Good knowledge of

Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure)

. Exposure to

microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to debug and optimize performance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
