We are Markets Regulation, a Technology Stream in the Investment Bank within the Chief Digital Information Office (CDIO). Our purpose is to transform the way Investment Bank does business, by simplifying and improving the products and platforms relied on by our Regulatory and Data Clients. We play a crucial role in enabling the Investment Bank to meet its regulatory obligations and creating value from its wealth of data. We develop and implement the most innovative technologies available within Investment Bank in our solutions and products.

Our small, autonomous Agile teams are empowered to respond to client demands while challenging the ways of working to improve our delivery experience. With members based in London, New York, Singapore, Zurich, Hong Kong, Poland and India, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive and diverse team. We are looking for experts keen to keep learning and changing the game with us.

Your experience and skills

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or relevant certification.
• Expert level experience in Java and preferably in Spark and Python.
• Well versed in Cloud architecture and have delivered to one or more; Azure (preferred).
• Demonstrate hands-on engineering in large scale complex Enterprise(s), ideally in the banking / financial industry.
• Worked with modern tech \xe2\x80\x93 data streaming, real-time & batch processing and compute clusters.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, designing and implementing scalable solutions.
• Experience of working in continuous architecture environment, iterating and improving solutions including test driven development.
• Experience of CI/CD pipelines \xe2\x80\x93 ADO, GitHub or Gitlab.
