Job Description

Responsibilities:
Monitoring, includes (i) monitoring core ingestion and processing applications, (ii) verify core ingestion and processing applications are running according to schedule, (iii) routine log analysis, (iv) start/stop/restart failed jobs, (v) verify external tool data access are operating as expected
Diagnosis and problem analysis, includes (i) review of application logs of long running applications, and perform root cause analysis; (ii) review job runtimes of core ingestion and processing applications, verify they meet SLAs; (iii) review incidents weekly to identify patterns, and recommend approah to reduct number of incidents.
Resolving incidents
Provide recommended fixes for identified issues
Minimum Qualifications:
With Production support experience at least 2-3 years
With Hadoop, MapReduce, YARN, Sentry, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Impala, Spark experience/skills
With Apache Kafka experience/skills
Operating Systems knowledge Windows, Unix/Linux.
ITSM Management tool experience
Good communication skills, oral and written
Good interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications:
Application Servers : Tomcat, JBoss, BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere CE & ND.
Programming Technologies: Core Java, Multithreading, JSP, Servlets, Unix Shell scripting.
Frameworks: Swing, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, JAXB, JMF, RedHat jBPM, Log4J, Perf4J, JUNG & Prefuse visualization frameworks.
Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle 11g, Teradata
Version Control Tools: CSS, SVN, TortoiseSVN.
IDEs: Eclipse, SpringSource Tool Suite, NetBeans.
Other Tools: SSH Tectia Terminal and File Transfer, Putty, JBuilder, HERMES Continuous Integration, ANT, Maven, SQL Developer, SQL Data Modeler, MS Project 2010, Client Quality Control, JIRA, Microsoft Visio.
ITIL knowledge (certification a plus)
With Production support experience at least 2-3 years
