We are now searching for a Junior Accountant to join our office in the Philippines to support our UK based clients, remotely. To be successful in this position you should have a strong background in UK Accounting Practices working with UK clients remotely.


What will you do?

• In charge of maintaining full sets of books for a portfolio of clients including bank reconciliations, fixed assets, register, raising journals and preparing financial reports in Xero accounting system
• Preparing Unaudited Financial Statements, VAT quarterly submissions, and payroll support for clients
• Understand and adhere to UK financial regulations and legislation
• Work with internal stakeholders and third-party consultants on the specifications
• Supporting a team of bookkeepers and portfolios of clients
• Assist with onboarding clients
• Other ad-hoc accounting related duties as requested by the Management.
  

Requirements
What do we need?

• Extensive knowledge in European or UK Accounting practices, processes and procedures
• Graduate of Finance, Accountancy, Accounting Technology
• Minimum 6 - 12 months of relevant accounting experience
• Advanced excel software skills and proficient in various accounting/audit software like Xero Payroll and Xero Tax, Quickbooks, Brightpay etc.
• Good command of written and oral English
• CPA qualification is preferred
