Responsibilities: * Assist in the development of Rust applications for web3 projects, contributing to various stages of the development process.

• Using Rust patterns, and algorithms to create highly optimized services.
• Utilize libraries in Rust, such as axum, rocket or hyper to write highly scalable backend services.
• Using tokio / async-std, leverage the async rust features for faster performance.
• Write unit tests and contribute to code reviews, ensuring the quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices of the codebase.
• Proactively learn about web3 concepts and technologies, expanding knowledge and understanding of the underlying principles and their applications.
• Contribute to the team\'s success in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow.

Requirements: * Minimum of 1 year of experience in programming, showcasing a solid foundation in programming fundamentals, problem-solving, and algorithm design.

• Familiarity with diesel / sqlx
• Strong interest in web3 and Rust, demonstrating a passion for exploring the potential of these technologies and their applications in the decentralized ecosystem.
• Excellent problem-solving and learning skills, enabling the ability to grasp new concepts quickly, overcome challenges, and adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, effectively managing tasks, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to team goals

BuildBear is creating the first seamless CI/CD infrastructure for Smart Contracts and Web3 Applications. BuildBear aims to make it easy for Web3 Application owners, Web3 Application Developers and Core Smart Contract Developers to interact with their Smart Contracts, Frontend and Backend in a production grade setting, to build and ship Web3 Applications faster.

BuildBear is founded by , who previously built Zapper.fi and has been developing web3 applications since 2017 and , one of the designers of Async Rust {Rust Language Org} and the creator of Valerie {React in Rust}. The project began in 2022 and has been funded by marquee investors, including senior members of Kyber, Typechain, and Ethereum Enterprise Alliance.

BuildBear is a distributed / remote team of engineers and builders across Singapore, India and US. We are extremely passionate and obsessed about shipping powerful infrastructure to test of Web3 Applications at Scale.
