Under the supervision of the Regional Finance Director PCD TR APAC, you will be a key business partner in understanding and analyzing the complex yet fascinating and growing Travel Retail business of the APAC region. As part of the Finance Team, you will have a significant role into defining the PCD TR APAC financial equation through the different forecast exercises and closings, participating in making sure the financial operations run smoothly at the right level of data quality. Also, you will be a key contributor in various optimization and revamping projects of our financial processes. The position is based in Singapore and your main stakeholders will be the accounting teams and operational Teams of the different areas.YOUR MISSION

  • Running controlling & financial operations: To be Actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the department and therefore of the whole region. This includes making sure our expenses are booked at the right level of expectation, on a timely manner following the right phasing and proper affectation within our financials.
  • Analysis & reporting: Partnering with the different stakeholders to analyze the gaps and inconsistencies that may arise from those bookings vs our expectation and report back to the business / management with necessary recommendations or alerts.
  • On the regulatory side, to ensure the actuals are aligned with accounting standards, respecting regional, central and internal control guidelines. To conduct in-depth financial analysis when required, providing insights to the Management. To build-up and sustain a reporting environment that allows the stakeholders to access their key financials data and a seamless manner.
  • Continuous improvement: To be proactive into identifying, proposing to Management and coordinating improvement of our financial processes at local or regional level. To be a key coordinator / contributor toward central initiatives that are aiming at improving our financial processes and information workflows.
QualificationsWHO YOU AREUniversity or Business School bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree holder with finance major & at least 1-2 years of relevant working experience, you are ambitious enough to embark on a demanding yet fascinating journey. You would particularly enjoy contributing to the operational performance of an international group / leading brand and therefore have a direct impact on its business.
  • University or Business School Bachelor or Master holder with finance major or related specialization
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably within the travel retail, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial statements, budgeting, forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Knowledge in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluent in English \xe2\x80\x93 French is a plus.
