Responsibilities

• Execute trade orders placed by portfolio managers, and acting as the pre-trade broker liaison.
• Execute trades executions on Fixed Income and FX

- Conventional Government and Corporate bonds
- Sukuk Government and Corporate bonds
- Listed and OTC derivatives
- FX spot, forward, swap * Setting and following high standards of conduct complying with MAS rules and principles and firm\'s policies and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Execute trade orders in a quick and reliable manner, using appropriate tools, electronic platforms, and direct market access if needed and/or available and follow up on completion of trade orders.
• Comply with the dealing desk procedure in terms of orders transmission, execution and fair allocation.
• Comply with the brokers\' policy and allocation as defined by the broker review committee, and report brokers\' performance and dealing activities.
• Acting always under the principle of best executions, including negotiation of the commission paid when it is applicable.
• Access and analyse financial market data and information to provide fund managers with relevant market information, such as price analysis, market positioning, central banks interventions.
• Ensure coordination with Amundi\'s trading desks when necessary to achieve best execution and protect the best interests of the portfolios.
• Apply risk management policies and implement best practices controls at transaction level, and communicate reportable events and take actions.
• Liaise with the middle office to ensure that the confirmation process is running smoothly and taking every action in order to sort out any discrepancy
• Report any issue on the quality of processing through constantly interacting with IT team regarding Medi@+, OMS (reporting problems, suggesting any improvements, etc.), and all the applications used
• Identify and comply with legislative, regulatory and industry requirements. Where appropriate seek guidance from management of compliance.
• Keep abreast of changes of relevant laws and regulations and understand its implications (portfolios, constraints, internal procedures)

first experienced from buy-side/sell side or a middle-office person with a strong understanding of the fixed income products (government and corporate bonds)

Experience of equity and Equity derivatives as a trader will be a plus
