Maintain production facilities and utilities, aiming to reduce Unplanned Loss (UL) and Scheduled Loss (SL) according to site targets for plant availability, while optimizing maintenance costs.
Handle the selection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Contribute to small CAPEX projects, Management of Change, and improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Ensure production plant and utility equipment are maintained to meet performance and availability targets.
Monitor and optimize Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Repairs, and Condition Monitoring programs for electrical and instrumentation equipment, employing a Reliability-centered Maintenance approach.
Review and manage the bad actor program through Reliability Analysis and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
Oversee spare part availability, optimize inventory levels, and ensure the team replenishes spare parts for electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Administer training and development for in-house contractors and the electrical and instrumentation team.
Coordinate with external agencies for regulatory work related to electrical switchgear and periodic license renewals with Licensed Electrical Workers (LEW).
Conduct annual contractor performance reviews and manage the performance management system.
Provide advice and support on electrical and instrumentation topics such as specifications, design, safety instrumented systems, and more for operations and CAPEX projects.
Support operational technology (OT) systems, including DCS.
EHS Responsibilities
Manage work instructions and maintenance planning to prioritize occupational safety, health, and environmental protection.
Clarify hazards and control measures in Permit-To-Work, Risk Assessments, and Work Instructions for contractors and the team.
Conduct and maintain routine safety walks, safety engagement briefings, safety induction training, risk assessment reviews, and meet statutory requirements.
Ensure any plant changes or modifications are carried out following the Management of Change procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
At least 1 year experience in the chemical industry
Available on standby after working hours for emergency.
Willing to work on Jurong Island.
