Our client is a fund management company (LFMC) by MAS in 2020.
They formed a multi-service mainline of wealth management, asset management, global open product platforms, and Internet finance, providing high-net-worth clients with comprehensive financial services such as wealth management, overseas asset allocation, high-end insurance, and high-end education. Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping and maintaining full set of financial statements and management reports, including supporting schedules and appropriate disclosure notes
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Prepare and review financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including fund managers, administrators, auditors, and tax advisors
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings, including annual returns and tax filings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a Fund Administration/ Auditors/ Fund Management firm
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards, including FRS and IFRS.
- Familiarity with the Singapore regulatory framework for VCC funds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, preferably Quickbook
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
