• Position : Junior Lab Technician / Lab Assistant (Shift Work/ Fast Working Environment/ Company Transport provided) - Up to $2800
• Location : West - Pioneer (Company transport provided)
• Working hours : 6 Days Work | 3 Shifts - 7am to 3pm / 3pm to 11pm / 11pm to 7am
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $2800 (Basic + OT+ Allowance) + AWS + Average of 2 months Bonus + Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits
• Duration : Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Sampling preparation for ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• Carry out spark test, radiation check on steel samples
• Perform slag analysis test by using the XRF instrument
• Perform wet analysis on ferrous and non-ferrous Metals
• Operate equipment like pellet press, ball mill, benchtop XRF, Spectrometer, Gamma Spectrometer and wet lab equipment
• Carry out daily calibration on spectrometer, radiation detector and slag analyser in chemical lab
• General maintenance of equipment and housekeeping of the Laboratory
• Prepare test reports and handle other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in handling XRF analytical equipment or possess certificate in Chemistry and Material Science related fields.
• Candidates without prior relevant experiences are welcome to apply
• Able to work in shift and fast-pace environment independently
