We are thrilled to welcome a Junior Local Supply Chain Planner (RM) to our Singapore team, and we hope it's you.
Your Focus
As a Junior Local Supply Chain Planner (RM), your primary responsibility is to ensure the timely supply of materials to the local plant, facilitating uninterrupted production processes. You will serve as the main point of contact at the Scent compounding plant, translating demands, requirements, and special needs, and executing planning activities that cannot be managed by the centralized team.
How You Will Contribute

• Cancel bulk material orders and coordinate their receipt from the staging area.
• Address raw material shortages due to unexpected inventory write-offs or internal rejections in close collaboration with the GSCP.
• For Quality Issues: communicate with QC to determine the solution for blocked stock, such as discarding, returning to use, or using as BU up to a certain level. Inform the GSC Planner of this decision.
• For returns to the vendor, coordinate the return process with the Warehouse and Outbound department.
• In case of inventory discrepancies, gather information from Finished Goods Planning, Production, and WHS, and communicate with the GSC Planner. Inform if an extra purchase is needed. If immediate action is required and the GSC Planner is unavailable (due to time zone differences), proceed with an extra purchase or work with the FG Planner to reschedule specific POs/PRs.
• Coordinate and follow up on POCO execution. POCO involves cleaning up destroyed materials by creating a one-time compounding and selling to a specific customer.
• Coordinate and follow up with the Inbound Material Coordinator for original paperwork and incoming shipments.
• Manage the physical part of the pre-shipment samples process: deliver the sample to WHC for goods receiving, and to QC for testing, and follow up on the results with GSCP.
• Ensure E&Rs execution at the production floor and warehouse, including material movement, proper labelling, and requesting DMA updates.
• Communicate any relevant FG rejections to GSCP that impact RM availability and trigger extra RM purchases.
• Collaborate with the global supply chain planner and global procurement to find local vendors in case of unexpected supply issues.
• Act as a liaison between the commercial organization, Customer Service, and the Global Master Planner/GSCP for all market-relevant information (New Wins, Demand increases, Business Lost, Must Win Projects).
• Participate in meetings (Production, QC, Global Procurement, Plant Manager, and Customer Service) and relay relevant information to the Global Supply Chain Planner to meet plant expectations.
• Address Late Order Reason (LOR) reports.
• Continuously seek improvements in processes and workflows that benefit Supply Chain and Operations.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Management or any related field
• At least 3 years of experience in operational planning or a related area
• Capability to work independently.
• Proficiency in computer skills, with strong knowledge of SAP systems.
• Ability to work across different functions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• A team-oriented approach to work, demonstrating the ability to perform well under pressure.
