Your Role and Responsibilities

• Design, envision and build applications for iOS/ Android platforms
• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Adopting Agile and other best practices to create meaningful solutions
• Applying scalable design patterns and clean code practices to develop high-quality software that is easily extensible, maintainable and readable
• Collaborating with amazing people of different backgrounds and skillsets to solve challenging and complex problems
• Actively contributing with your ideas and passion

The Qualifications To Be a Maverick

• Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with mobile application development (iOS or Android) using either native or cross-platform technologies
  • Experience in writing production-ready code , complete with unit tests for mobile application codes
  • Worked collaboratively with others to deliver a complete working solution to production
  • Knowledge of iOS/ Android SDK and ecosystem of tools, libraries and frameworks
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object Modeling
  • Good understanding of design patterns such as MVVM, MVC
  • Experience with code versioning tools like Git

• Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with best development practices such as Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP etc, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of iOS/ Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
  • Experience with automated functional tests or UI tests
  • Setting up of CI pipeline for mobile application development
  • Experience publishing mobile apps to Google Play Store or iOS App Store
  • Experience with distributing apps to stakeholders and beta users using tools like Hockeyapp or TestFlight
  • Experience working with APIs to connect applications to back end services
  • Experience with application benchmarking and optimisation
  • Experience with developing applications for various industries
  • Played cross functional roles
