Junior Project Asst (Laboratory), Woodlands, ContractSummary:
The position will work with the Project and Asset Management team to provide support for relocation and Projects to provide dedicated and timely service support to Customer. The candidate must have relevant technical/metrology experience and knowledge with various Laboratory and Analytical equipment. The specialist must have good interpersonal and coordination skill to multi-task based on formalized procedures.Responsibilities:

• Conduct site inspection of relocation sites, co-ordination with customers, partner with Logistics team to ensure equipment are professionally secured and packed for delivery.
• Ensure that the External 3P vendors are qualified under Customer off-site and on-site requirements prior their service job execution.
• Handle and Coordinate with 3P vendors to support various services (verification, calibration, preventive maintenance (PM), qualification, repairs).
• Provide metrology services to customer\'s equipment with in-house SOPs with timely calibrated and maintained tools.
• Respond as per on-site service request guidelines to ad-hoc Service requests triggered by Laboratory End Users within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Identify and recommend customers appropriate inventory type and quantity of inventory supply of critical equipment service parts, verification/calibration/PM kits and service tools replacement to minimize instrument downtime and budget planning.
• Ensure customer\'s consumables and chemicals inventory under the Inventory Management (IM) program are sufficiently stocked to their needs.

The Specialist will also need to ensure accurate documentation creation, management, updates and tracking of services rendered in this program, using in-house Asst Management system in the following areas: * Training

• Service Reports of all equipment and calibration tools for all services performed and update asset information.
• Vendor Qualification Review
• Effective communication and coordination with customers, vendors, multi-functional team in the company to ensure services can be carried out effectively.

Skills/Qualifications: * A Diploma in science or engineering, preferably in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or related fields with good written and oral communication skills.

• Demonstrate a positive work approach with good problem-solving skill.
• Equipped with a determined and adaptable demeanor in a dynamic environment.
• Have a cheerful and interactive personality with a customer-centric demeanour would be a plus

• Proficient with computer software and systems.
