The Opportunity

The Objectives of this Consultancy - Junior Research Associate (Quantitative) part-time consultant - is to support CUBIC staff with the quantitative tasks of behavioral science-focused projects. Tasks include: data collection and supervision, data analysis, experimental design, literature reviews, report writing, training, among others.

This role requires a min of 1-3 days per week of work.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Research Associate (Quantitative) part-time consultant will carry out tasks for supporting 1-3 projects, such as: * Desk review

• Conducting desk research that includes literature reviews, data availability, and project documentation on behavioral issues/previous evidence on particular topics
• Design/Coordination

• Supporting the design of interventions
• Supporting IRB submissions
• Supporting the training of enumerators
• Help plan the implementation of interventions, including RCTs
• Help overseeing and monitoring interventions and data collection
• Data analysis

• Conducting statistical analysis of existing surveys, census, and available datasets
• Conducting statistical analysis of impact evaluations
• Analytical work

• Presenting data in compelling and understandable ways
• Supporting the preparation of presentations
• Drafting and/or editing project briefs, reports, and case studies
• Work closely with senior team members to contribute to academic projects for journal submission, where results are suitable for publication
• Assisting with behavioral design training sessions and workshops
• Other tasks as needed
