Economic success and corporate responsibility are inextricably linked as part of this process.Symrise \xe2\x80\x93 always inspiring more \xe2\x80\xa6Junior Research Technologist (F&B), SingaporeAs a Junior Research Technologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Research & Technologist team in various research projects in savory application on food samples and prototypes by conducting basic test methodologies, application trials and samples evaluation. You will be involved in key events such as customer showcase, annual operating plans (AOP) for snack projects and strategic growth plan (SGP) to drive deliverables proactively and contribute effectively to company business growth. You are required to maintain laboratory inventory of consumables and office supplies and ensure safe working environment in accordance to EHS guidelines and good laboratory practices. You will report directly to Senior Research Technologist (F&B), Singapore.The Position:

• Support the Research & Technology department in application research projects.
• To conduct application trials, samples preparation for evaluation and gather experimental and sensory results.
• Assist in key events preparation such as Innovation Day, Customer Showcase, AOP Snack Projects and Strategic Growth Plan (SGP).
• Support reactive customer requests and proactive commercial driven projects.
• Perform various basic test methodologies as required.
• To maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EHS guidelines and good laboratory practices.
• To keep and ensure inventory list is up to date.
• Take responsibility for health, safety and hygiene of all projects undertaken.
• Coordinate regular maintenance of laboratory equipment and follow up closely.
• Place order for general laboratory consumables and office supplies.
• Arrange shipment samples to deliver to other Symrise offices
• Assist in housekeeping and build strong collaborative relationship with Research & Technology team.

• Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant working experience in science / testing laboratory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong team player, independent, driven, meticulous, organized and good time management skills
• Enjoys routine research, collaborative and committed, positive and proactive to take initiatives to support the team
