Execute project tasks as a laboratory research officer alongside the project team, including
Evaluation of Commercial Feasibility on Individual Kit Components
Kit conceptualization
Development of quality management process plan and manufacturing SOP
Developing protocols, execute and reporting for verification test
Validation of diagnostics workflow and execution of diagnostic test in clinical lab
Administer laboratory operations which includes ordering, inventories, and maintaining laboratory equipment and consumables;
Procurement according to prevailing procurement policies
Equipment management includes qualification, preventive maintenance and repair of equipment as per lab SOP, including ensuring compliance to safety codes and licenses
Monitoring and maintenance of chemical list by effective communication with different stakeholders and external parties.
Job Requirement(s)
A Bachelor (with Hons) degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology / Biomedical Sciences.
Good understanding and hands on experience in any of the following areas such as molecular technologies (qPCR and NGS), immunochemistry, serological assays, cytology and cytopathology.
Experience working in clinical diagnostic labs
Ability to work in a cross functional teams or autonomously in a dynamic environment
Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Good organizational and time management skills
