Adecco is partnering with a US MNC in the FMCG industry and we are seeking for a Junior Sourcing Specialist (FMCG) to join their expanding business! The company has recently expanded into the SEA region to set up their regional headquarters in Singapore. As part of their new headcount, the incumbent full spectrum of sourcing activities for pet toys and accessories. Those with strong sourcing experience can be considered for a senior position.

Job scope:
  • Source and develop new suppliers and products in line with Company\'s policy
  • Expand the sourcing footprint in various regions
  • Assist in daily operatoinal activities including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification, order follow up
  • Work closley with regional Sourcing team to ensure programs are delivered timely, while coordinating on buying trips
  • Coordinate the sourcing activities with QA, Supply chain and packaging teams
Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese language to liaise with native Chinese speaking counterparts based in China
  • Experience in large sourcing/buying office is a plus
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office with strong knowledge in Excel (Pivot Table and VLOOKUP) is a plus
  • Willingness to learn, able to adapt in fast-paced environment
