We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for a Junior Web Designer.Web Developer responsibilities include building websites from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout and function.Responsibilities

• Write well designed, commented, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create a website layout/user interface by using a combination of themes/plugins and HTML/CSS/JS
• Integrate data from various back-end services, CRM, and databases
• Extend website features by integrating with third-party APIs and CMSs
• Create and maintain documentation
• Be responsible for creating, maintaining, expanding, and scaling sites
• Cooperate with web designers to match function and design intent

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in web programming
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS/JS Experience and familiarity with PHP, WordPress
• Familiarity with frameworks and runtimes such as Jquery and Node.js
• Well-versed and adept in CMS applications, particularly Wordpress
• Knowledgeable with integrating third-party application APIs
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation process
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks within the constraints of timelines
• BS in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with CPanel, WHM, Linux Shell, Apache and MySQL databases is preferred but not essential
