Adecco is partnering with a US MNC in the FMCG industry and we are seeking for Junior/Senior Sourcing Specialists to join their expanding business! The incumbent full spectrum of sourcing activities for the hard goods category, handling sourcing, product development and production coordination.

Job scope:

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in expanding our sourcing footprint in various regions. Your main responsibilities will include:

Strategic Sourcing: Source and develop new suppliers and products while adhering to our company\'s policies and quality standards.

Global Expansion: Expand our sourcing activities to reach new regions and tap into exciting market opportunities.

Operational Support: Assist in daily operational activities, including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification, and order follow-up.

Collaboration: Work closely with our regional Sourcing team to ensure timely program delivery and coordination on buying trips.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with QA, Supply Chain, and Packaging teams to coordinate sourcing activities and ensure seamless product flow.

Vendor Performance Evaluation: Evaluate vendor performance to maintain a high-performing supplier base and update the vendor matrix accordingly.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in sourcing for hard goods will be highly advantageous
• Strong leadership skills to lead the team effectively
• Ability to communicate in Chinese language to liaise with native Chinese speaking counterparts based in China
• Experience in large sourcing/buying office is a plus
• Familiar with international regulatory requirements
• Familiar with Microsoft Office with strong knowledge in Excel (Pivot Table and VLOOKUP) is a plus
