JOB DESCRIPTION

Keppel is a leading global asset manager and operator with strong capabilities in energy & environment, urban development and connectivity, creating solutions for a sustainable future. This role sits within 1 of the 2 platforms: (i) Fund Management and (ii) Investment. The Fund Management platform focuses on raising capital and forging stronger relationships with investors. The Investment platform aims to drive capital deployment decisions and horizontal integration to create value for our investors. Together, we aim to create value and deliver sustainable returns for our investors through a range of products including listed REITs and business trusts and private funds which invests globally into real estate, infrastructure, data centres and alternative asset classes. The intern will be responsible in the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct research on real estate markets and assist in portfolio reporting, preparation for presentations, internal papers and reports. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with internal departments to coordinate reporting and meetings, especially on sustainability. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist to work on fund/asset analysis and ad-hoc analysis on real estate portfolios as required. Learning Outcomes: 1.Learn about the fundamentals of real estate fund management business and have a better understanding on how fund management works and the respective underlying asset classes. 2.Work on the sustainability aspect of the fund. 3.Improve communication and teamwork skills in a corporate environment.

Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong verbal and written communication skill. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently, quickly and with fresh ideas. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency in financial analysis, use of Excel and Powerpoint. \xe2\x80\xa2 Open mindset with at least some interest in sustainability / ESG-related topics. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint. \xe2\x80\xa2 Technology-savvy.
