Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious Kitchen All-Rounder to work at our Burmese restaurant in Singapore. Successful candidates will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package and professional training in a dynamic and growing company.

You will be performing a variety of tasks in a kitchen environment, including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and assisting with kitchen operations. This role often involves a combination of skills, from basic food handling to more complex cooking techniques.

Responsibilities include:



Kitchen Duties:



Chopping and preparing ingredients, as well as assisting with cooking tasks under the direction of chefs. Maintaining order and cleanliness of the kitchen, food preparation areas and service areas based on industry and company standards. Cleaning general utensils and kitchen equipment. Cooking, toasting and heating food under the supervision of Line Chefs. Assembling and preparing food ingredients for cooking. Restocking kitchen supplies and maintaining equipment as needed. Weighing, transferring, checking and storing food ingredients. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel to ensure smooth service. Adaptable and be able to handle different tasks and situations, as well as work in a fast-paced environment.

Cleaning Duties:



Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards, including cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies. Wash dishes by hand or using a dishwasher, keeping utensils and equipment clean. Empty trash bins and transport waste to designated areas, ensuring proper disposal procedures. Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and clean surfaces in dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen areas. Assist with stocking supplies, cleaning windows and mirrors, and performing other tasks as needed

Requirements:



Basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and prevention of food-borne illnesses. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and bend and reach. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors. Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness to high standards. Ability to adhere to schedules and perform tasks efficiently. Ability to handle a variety of tasks and work in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,600.00 per month
