Job Description
Working Hours:
Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays unless required for school events
Requirements:
Primary school
education Preferably3 years working experience
in the related field Completed 'Workplace Safety and Health Practices Implementation
' 2-3 (WSH Level 1)Job Scope:
Clean and tidy 2 NFS kitchens
, food preparation and needlework rooms.Prepare ingredients and equipment
for teachers to conduct Food & Nutrition (F&N) activities and practical work in the NFS kitchens daily.Prepare students' ingredients and materials
before lesson. Assist inchecking and storing of goods
. Assist instock taking of equipment
in the NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms. Assist toensure safety in the kitchen
eg switching off of gas valves, safe keeping of sharp objects such as knives. Assist in ensuring thekitchen is ready for N and O levels National examinations
. Assist in doingmajor spring cleaning of 2 NFS kitchens
, food preparation and needlework rooms during the June and December school holidays. * Any ad hoc duties assigned as and when required based on the needs of the school.
