Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and preparing meats
Assist in the cooking and preparation of traditional Chinese dishes
Follow recipes and instructions from the chefs to ensure consistency and quality of dishes
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role in a Chinese restaurant or kitchen
Good understanding of traditional Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Good communication and teamwork skills
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
