In the role of Kitchen Assistant, the candidate will provide daily operational support in our kitchen. This position is pivotal for someone who is self-driven, passionate, and organized. We are looking for an individual who matches our spirit and ambitions, and someone who will challenge us to constantly push our boundaries. The Kitchen Assistant will be a vital part of our kitchen team, primarily focusing on preparing high-quality sandwiches and assisting in various kitchen duties. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn and grow in the culinary field.Responsibilities:

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items following specific recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in the daily setup and breakdown of the kitchen area.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and communication.
• Learn and assist in other areas of the kitchen, including food prep for other menu items, as directed by the Cafe Lead.
• Contribute to menu ideas and participate in kitchen inventory management.

• Passion for food and a keen interest in learning culinary skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus but not necessary.
• Location is at Clarke Quay.
