Job Description

Key Responsibilities


Food Preparation:

Wash, peel, chop, and measure ingredients for dishes, and assist with basic cooking tasks such as slicing or boiling.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Ensure the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and utensils, is clean and organised by following cleaning schedules and food safety protocols.

Stock Management:

Assist with receiving, storing, and organising inventory, as well as checking stock levels to ensure sufficient ingredients for shifts.

Hygiene and Safety:

Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.

Support to Kitchen Staff:

Provide assistance to cooks and kitchen supervisors with various tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal service.

Waste Disposal:

Correctly dispose of kitchen waste, including cleaning garbage cans, according to procedures.
Key Skills and Qualifications


Basic Knife Skills:

Essential for preparing ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meat.

Knowledge of Food Safety:

Physical Stamina:
