The contract may be extended for a further period of
1 year (01 January 2027 to 31 December 2027)
at the sole discretion of the Authority, subject to the same terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday:
7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch break included)
Friday:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch break included)
No work on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Work (Summary):
Support teachers during Home Economics practical lessons
Preparation of ingredients and utensils
Cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment, workstations, and classrooms
Inventory checks, food expiry monitoring, and supply reporting
Ensuring kitchen safety, hygiene, and proper shutdown of equipment
Deep cleaning and inventory management during school holiday periods
Any other duties assigned by the school's General Office
Leave & Attendance:
All
Vacation Leave (VL)
and
Outstation Leave (OSL)
are subject to school approval
Unauthorised absences may result in
pro-rated salary deductions
Replacement personnel will be arranged by the contractor where applicable, at no additional cost to the Authority
