MacroAsia SATS Inflight Services Corporation, an Inflight Catering Services provider of a leading airline company is in need of KITCHEN HELPER.- This is an entry level position.- Must be a graduate of four-year course in BS Hotel and Restaurant Management, Nutrition, Food Technology or related experience.- Must possess the following competencies: planning, problem solving, interpersonal, customer and team orientation skills.- Average written and oral communication skills- Computer literate- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREASA. Operations
Assigned at Food Set-up:1. Handles the provisioning of inflight meals requirements of assigned flights in accordance with airline specifications and MSIS policies and procedures.2. Turns-over complete inflight prepared meals to Catering Field Servicing personnel on time. Accomplishes FSU Release Form and sees to it that proper documentation of receipt of meal requirements is in place.3. Updates self on changes and/or revision in meal requirements.4. Ensures the proper handling of company (catering) equipment at all times.Assigned at Meat Section:1. Handles preparation of meat items (marinating, slicing etc.) in accordance with recipe procedures and set guidelines.2. Turns over prepared meat items to the Hot Section personnel in accordance with set guidelines and procedures.3. Updates self on changes and/or revision in meal requirements.4. Ensures the proper handling of company (catering) equipment at all times.Assigned at Cold Kitchen/Pantry:1. Handles preparation of appetizers, juices and garnishes in accordance with recipe procedures and set guidelines.2. Turns over prepared items to the Food Set-up personnel in accordance with set guidelines and procedures.3. Updates self on changes and/or revision in meal requirements.4. Ensures the proper handling of company (catering) equipment at all times.Assigned at Meal Portioning:1. Handles portioning of meals for Mabuhay Class / Business class on all international, regional & domestic flights in accordance with airline specifications & strict adherence to hygiene & sanitation standard.2. Turns-over complete portioned meals to Food Set-up personnel in accordance with set guidelines and procedures.3. Updates self on changes / or revision in meal requirements.4. Ensures the proper handling of company (catering) equipment at all timesB. Other Duties
1. Observes/complies with company policies and procedures.2. Takes responsibility in the proper custody of assigned property accountabilities.3.
