Position Title: Assistant Fashion Designer (Casual and Sportwear Apparel) Location: Near to Redhill MRT Working Days: Mon - Fri, 5 days Working Hours: 9am - 6pm Salary: $2,300 - $2,800 Job Highl Position Title: Assistant Fashion Designer (Casual and Sportwear Apparel) Location: Near to Redhill MRT Working Days: Mon - Fri, 5 days Working Hours: 9am - 6pm Salary: $2,300 - $2,800 Job Highlights Annual Leaves/Birthday Leaves/ Medical Benefits Dynamic working environment Work location near to Redhill MRT Job Responsibilities: Assisting Fashion Designer and Development Team to create technical drawings, specification sheets and other ad-hoc duties for sampling to bulk stage. Work closely with team in creation of seasonal concept and collection Collaborate with Designer in designing and developing seasonal graphic prints and textile artworks Assists in identifying key seasonal trends, colours, materials and translating it to thoughtful product designs Understand products through conducting research and providing feedback during fitting sessions Review and evaluate lap-dips, fabrications, print strike-offs, proto to final samples together with the development team Communicate closely with development team for design constructions, size specs and garment fit Follow up with sampling to ensure consistency and design qualities are met Maintaining workflow and timeline for current season in development and previous seasons in mass production Participate in meetings with clients and suppliers for smooth designing/instructing process Source and manage reference sample, fabric and trims library Job Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or related discipline Knowledge in textile, garment construction, fitting and design Detailed oriented professional with strong technical skills Pattern drafting knowledge and have a strong understanding of garment construction Proficient in digital software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft excel etc. Technical sketching ability (flat and illustration) preferred Positive work attitude, willing to learn, a team player and performs well in a multi-tasking environment. Must be willing to learn and adapt to company's culture, with positive mindset to grow as an individual and together with the brand. Able to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and self-discipline in adhering to deadlines.
