Job Description

Our client, a Global Private Bank in Singapore is looking for a seasoned Compliance Specialist with 6-10 years of experience to provide subject-matter expertise on AML/KYC during onboarding and regular review of clients.

Requirements of the role:

Reporting into the Head of AML, you will perform AML/KYC reviews for client and counterparty onboarding. You will also ensure sufficient and appropriate checks are performed and documented according to regulatory requirements and the Bank\'s policies and procedures.

You will ensure all suspicious activities escalated to Compliance are promptly investigated, handled in a timely as well as to conduct AML transaction monitoring through addressing alerts generated via the Bank\'s AML monitoring tools on a timely basis.

You will also help to handle some regulatory aspects of the Bank such as leading the Bank to comply with regulatory compliance requirements such as SFA/FAA, representative registration and training and regulatory.

Requirements of the role:

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 6 to 10 years\' AML/KYC experience with a global financial institutions (preferably in the private banking space) and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have the ability to develop relationships across various stakeholders, including local and regional Compliance staff and the business.
