Job Description

We are accepting online applications for KYC/Due Diligence Coordinator position for Hoegh LNG Services ROHQ located in Makati City.The KYC/DD Coordinator will review Know Your Customer (KYC) requests made by lenders, business partners (e.g. customers, suppliers, joint venture partners) and other third parties and drive timely and accurate compilation and filing of required documentation on the basis of having a thorough understanding of the companyaEUR(TM)s business and corporate structure and the relevant rules and regulations applicable to the requesting party. The KYC/DD Coordinator will also perform sanctions review and facilitate third party due diligence for high-risk business partners. Other tasks and responsibiliies includes the following but not limited to:

• Maintain the groupaEUR(TM)s corporate archive for constitutional documents
• Be the GroupaEUR(TM)s main contact person for KYC requests and drive timely and accurate compilation and review of KYC due diligence documentation
• Perform due diligence on new and prospective business partners according to established policies and procedures, including sanction screenings and investigation of high-risk business partners and facilitate third party due diligence as necessary
• Periodically evaluate existing business partners according to established policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate compliance records

Know-your-customer requests from third parties

• Complete KYC questionnaires and provide relevant documentation via email or other reliable digital platforms
• Obtain passports, digital signatures, proof of address and other documentation required by officers and directors for KYC purposes
• Maintain overview of ultimate ownership structure, including constitutional documents (in close cooperation with the groupaEUR(TM)s ultimate beneficial owners)
• Maintain and review relevant KYC related internal policies and procedures
• Monitor and update KYC relevant documents in the company archive

Due diligence of the groupaEUR(TM)s business partners and compliance risk assessment

• Performing due diligence on new and prospective business partners, requesting completed questionnaires and KYC documentation; review and verification of received documentation and making an analytical risk assessment; facilitate third party due diligence for high-risk business partners
• Ensure business partners are properly reviewed and regularly monitored, including Politically Exposed Persons and entities under sanctions list, in order to address negative activities that could impact the group
• Monitor PEP list and sanctioned entities
• Develop a due diligence workplan
• Assist in compliance risk assessment of projects and operations

General

• Maintain accurate compliance records
• Perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required by the Legal and Compliance Division.

Qualifications and personal skills:

• Proficiency in English (both written and oral) and Microsoft Office applications
• At least 3 yearsaEUR(TM) experience in KYC/due diligence work in a private sector, preferably financial service or shared services industry
• Experience with sanctions and risk monitoring and screening is an advantage
• Compliance background is an advantage
