Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated preschool teacher to join our team. As a preschool teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. You will be expected to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum, manage classroom behavior, and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans and activities that align with the Singapore preschool curriculum framework.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Manage classroom behavior and provide positive reinforcement to encourage children\'s participation and engagement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to keep them informed of their child\'s progress and any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE-T) or Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (CECCE)
- Familiarity with the Singapore preschool curriculum framework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances
- Passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development and wellbeing.
