Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses on mechanical and physical properties such as tensile strength, hardness, abrasion, MVR, density, and impact.
Conduct instrumental analyses including FTIR and DSC.
Prepare test specimens using injection molding and/or extrusion methods.
Ensure product quality through QC checks on final products according to established procedures.
Document all test results systematically in compliance with ISO standards.
Support internal and external ISO audit activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Re-validate and improve testing methodologies for continuous quality improvement.
Investigate and follow up on customer complaints with proper lab analysis and reporting.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment as scheduled.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of raw materials, retention samples, and documents.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the laboratory.
Provide technical support to Production, R&D, and Sales teams as needed.
Monitor and ensure availability of lab consumables to support daily operations.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Degree holders are preferred for Lab Technician roles; minimum O-Level (with passes in Science and Mathematics) accepted for QC Analyst positions.
