The Services required are set out as follows:

(a) As directed by the teachers-in-charge, prepare and set up apparatus

equipment and reagents for practical lessons. Retrieve and clear

away apparatus, including safe disposal of waste after the lessons.

(b) Provide direct technical support to the teaching and learning of

science (and maths) in the three science laboratories; carry out risk

assessments together with the teachers as appropriate, to ensure

safety.

(c) Keeping the three science labs & its preparation room clean,

sanitised, safe, well-organised and clutter-free. Ensure the three labs

are safe and secure when not in use.

(d) Maintaining the scientific instruments, and ensuring that supplies are

accessible for teachers to use for lessons. Report to the HODs of

Science and Mathematics for these:

\xef\x82\xb7 Assist with the establishment and maintenance of Science (&

Maths) Departments\' resources.

\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor and manage stock-taking of equipment and resource

materials.

\xef\x82\xb7 Check deliveries & reorder essential items as necessary.

\xef\x82\xb7 Carry out and arrange for the maintenance and repair of

apparatus and equipment. Maintain required records and logs of

all maintenance and servicing of equipment.

(e) Simple administrative and office work

(f) Operate and maintain basic office equipment and material.

(g) Any other jobs assigned by the school

Monday to thursday - 7.30 AM to 4.30 PM

Friday : 7.30 AM to 4.00 PM

Salary Range

$1,700 - $1,800
