RESPONSIBILITIES

\xc2\xb7 The person hired will be required to assist scientists, chemists, and technicians in their day-to-day tasks in laboratory.

\xc2\xb7 Typical job activities include procuring, handling, and transferring chemicals, bottling, putting labels, receiving, and sending packages.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with procurement to create purchase requisitions and corresponding purchase orders

\xc2\xb7 Additional activities include following chemists in plastics post finishing using solvents and mechanical apparatus.

\xc2\xb7 The person is also expected to assist in day-to-day office activities such as general administrative work and inventory management.

\xc2\xb7 Following on job training the person should be able to work closely with Scientists & Chemists of Evonik in this field and are required to follow instructions and other standard operating procedures in the laboratory along with maintaining highest EHSQ standards

REQUIREMENTS

\xc2\xb7 Diploma holder in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and material science.

\xc2\xb7 Relevant work experience in chemical laboratory, with understanding of safety aspect.

\xc2\xb7 Experienced in chemical procurement, is a plus

\xc2\xb7 Background in chemistry, chemical engineering is an advantage

\xc2\xb7 Good communication and interpersonal skills

\xc2\xb7 Self-driven, motivated, and taking initiates

\xc2\xb7 Buona Vista, 8.30am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri), 1 year contract (convertible)

\xc2\xb7 $2000 per month
