Responsibilities:
- Lead Lab team for in-house sampling and testing capability, verification and comparison of in-house assay and external lab assay
- Manage on-time delivery of lab assay results to meet customer timeline
- Assist Technical Manager in technical projects development & continuous improvement of technical-driven recovery trials in Operation
- Provide technical advice to Operation based on SOPs including material handling procedure and hazards
- Assist in optimization of alternative analysis and cost-effective recovery method
- Ensure EHS awareness level within the Lab team with compliance of ISO procedures 9001 and 14001
- Continuous improvement in Laboratory SOP and conduct training of lab personnel
- Other duties assigned from time to time
- Degree in Chemistry with at least 2 years of managing laboratory experience
- Working experience in precious metal/ base metal i.e., fire assay analysis and ICP machine operation, is a bonus
