Lab Technician \xe2\x80\x93 Tuas \xe2\x80\x93 Office Hour [LKH]

Our client are chemical manufacturer and distributor in high purity specialty chemicals used in medical device.
Currently they are sourcing Lab Tech for Tuas Plant.
Working hour: 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Working location: JTC Chemicals Hub @ Tuas South Singapore 637048 Singapore, Company Transport provided at Jurong East MRT station.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with all regulations and requirements relating to Health and Safety in the workplace
• Preparation and Testing of raw material
• Preparation and Testing of In process material
• Finished product checking and analysis
• Reporting of abnormality observed to Quality/Lab manager
• Assist to address quality issues
• Assist in preventative maintenance of QC equipment
• Assist in cleaning of Lab/R&D glassware
• Assist in the maintenance of quality documentation and report to Quality/Lab Manager
• Order necessary lab consumable and chemicals.

Position Requirements:

• At least 2 Years of working experience in the related field, working experience in use of analytical instruments, such as GC & HPLC, is required for this position.
• Good Working attitude
• Hands on approach to problem solving and a willingness to work as part of a small team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• 8.5 hour normal duty (5 day work). Might need to work during the weekend if necessary
• Responsibility and Decision Making Authority:
• Act independently with leadership and guidance from Quality/Lab Manager
