Under minimal supervision, the Laboratory Technician would be responsible for evaluating, explaining, and completing the test report for less complex customer samples. To follows basic defined EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) test plans and data sheets. Operates and maintains simple EMC test equipment to test customer samples. To communicates with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows complex defined EMC test plans and datasheets utilizing a single technology. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results and completes test report.
• Examines less complex customer samples and learns to operate appropriate tests for each case. To communicates with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation.

• Reads and understands specific product/test standards and testing technology for scope of responsibility.

• Operates and maintains simple test equipment appropriately to measure and test customer samples. To performs simple maintenance on designated test equipment and laboratory area. May need to perform basic calibration of test equipment.

• Operates with minimal supervision within defined limits of responsibility.

• Integrates basic continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. To communicates with management and technical staff to provide suggestions for new equipment, processes, and forms to improve accuracy and efficiencies.

• Willing to work on shift.

• Performs other duties as directed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• ITE or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology and other relevant educational course in the related discipline. Plus generally 1 to 3 years of directly related work experience or equivalent education and experience. Candidates with University Degree can also consider applying. No experience can also apply.
• Have to be a team player with a strong drive to deliver result in a challenging environment.
• Candidates with no prior work experience are welcome to apply.
