Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Executes day-to-day laboratory operations, such as performing basic calibration and simple troubleshooting and maintaining of a range of laboratory equipment.
• Monitor laboratory consumable inventory and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
• Organise and stores all chemical substances in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements and helps to respond to chemical spillages and emergencies.
• Performs routine and non-routine product and in-process analyses, in accordance with SOPs, to ensure that product quality is as per specifications.
• Conduct sample analysis with minimum supervision. Receive, label and analyse samples as instructed
• Records, maintains and monitor up-to-date test results with accuracy and responsibility, and analyse them to observe any trends.
• Conducting and supporting scientific investigations and experiments
• Contributes to organisational development by supporting continuous improvement projects.
• Laboratory housekeeping.

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Chemical.
• Minimum 2 years hands on experience in Chemical / Pharmaceutical Laboratory.
• Meticulous, and can work independently as well as interact effectively with others
• Good time management
• Working knowledge in lab instrumentation including calibration, QA/QC, quality management systems (GMP, ISO 9001, FSSC22000)
• Effective team player, well-organised and motivated.
• 5-days week (Sundays to Thursdays).
