As a Last-Time-Buy Manager, you will be responsible for the global component EOL/PDN/PCN/LTB activity to ensure on the product lifetime component management and stock control, be the key contact for internal/external stakeholders regarding LTB management and take full account for global LTB process continuous improvement to ensure on corporate level business continuous success. Reporting to Global Component Manager oversee all key responsible for regular LTB relevant data analysis and reporting on LTB strategy, LTB stock consumption monitoring, Power BI Dashboard, long term LTB stock control, LTB excess monitoring etc.

Your responsibilities

• Working closely with global procurement and logistics team to manage component EOL/PDN with LTB process following up and LTB stock monitoring and control.
• Leading discussion with internal stakeholder like Product Manager, R&D team, Supplier Manager, Component Manager, Component Engineer to minimize component EOL impact to long term product life cycle management and business continuity.
• Cooperating with external stakeholder like global electronics and mechanical component manufacturer, Distributor, EMS, Brokers to manage component LTB process including but not limit to PO, invoice, RFQ, delivery tracking, stock refill, monitoring, reporting etc.
• Key responsible for regular LTB relevant data analysis and reporting on LTB strategy, LTB stock consumption monitoring, Power BI Dashboard, long term LTB stock control, LTB excess monitoring etc.
• Closing technical and commercial communication with R&D and Product Manager on redesign decision/progress and LTB stock refill with detailed cost avoidance analysis and reporting.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as commodity/category manager, proven experience in industrial business area with hardware background is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Electronics market, purchasing process, sourcing strategy and application
• Knowledge of contractual and legal aspects
• Good understanding of business practices, market dynamics and trends
• Good negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• International minded and can work in a global team
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Excellent in office software incl. Excel, PPT, Power BI etc.
• Ability to work independently in a virtual, remote and global environment.
